Since its emergence in the Middle Ages, the city of Luxembourg has developed strongly. The construction of fortifications, roads, bridges and other infrastructures has made the capital what it is today, and it is constantly changing. But how are the important decisions made? After an overview of the historical urban development, the participants will follow a political decision-making process. They take the roles of politicians and define their own priorities, which they defend during a debate.

Afterwards, a guided city tour leads the group to the buildings where political decisions are made.

Procedure:
a) Visit of the urban models of the city from the year 1000 until today
b) Simulation of a decision-making process at the municipal level
c) Discover the Town Hall

Objective: Understand the topographic evolution of the city and the political decision-making process; developp the ability to criticize and argue
