The Local Spirit

From May 04 on, the museum shop of the Lëtzebuerg City Museum on rue du Saint-Esprit will be transformed into the residence of local ‘makers’ (designers, creators, producers) for a period of 6 months. During 3 slots of 6 weeks each, you will be able to meet local makers, see them in action and buy their creations.
Join one of the various activities (workshops, guided tours, after work events) organised by both the Lëtzebuerg City Museum and lët’z go local asbl.

SLOT 1/3 | FOR THE LOVE OF WOOL
Until June 14, you’ll be able to meet Lahuro and Nuvola Baby. Their activities are quite different, but have something in common, namely: wool! Lahuro’s approach towards this wonderful material starts very close to the source (she will be spinning wool ‘sur place’ and then transform it into products in different ways, like on her weaving loom). Nuvola Baby focuses more on making wool popular amongst an audience that might not know about the advantages of the material by designing products that appeal to them; introducing fashion minded parents to the wonderful world of wool.
