From the Holy Family Association to the Pipe Smokers' Club to the Choral Society - there is a flag for every club. The shapes have evolved from kites to rectangles to squares. The activity of the club is also reflected in the design of its flag. The flag of a scout group, for example, must serve a different purpose than that of a music club. It is mainly the motifs that change from one flag to another, and the flag is a direct reflection of the time in which it was created. So don't be surprised that there is a science of its own devoted to the study of flags: vexillology!
The Lëtzebuerg City Museum, in collaboration with designer Lucie Majerus, offers your association the opportunity to design your unique flag in a participatory workshop.
