Imagine finding a mysterious stone that deciphers an ancient language! In 1799, French soldiers in Egypt found the Rosetta Stone, which contains the same text in hieroglyphics, Greek and Demotic. Thanks to this stone, scientists were able to decipher the Egyptian hieroglyphs - a very ancient enigma had been solved!

In this workshop, children create their own clay translation stone. They carve signs and symbols into the clay and add their meanings in different languages. When they get home, they can explore these new languages.
