The glove manufacturing plant Albert Reinhard was established in the Grund in 1882. The business was an integrated factory, which incorporated all the production stages, from the tanning of the hides to the sewing of the gloves. The Reinhard speciality was gloves made out of kidskin. These were exported to various countries throughout Europe and the Americas.
