Discover the two panoramas of Luxembourg City and admire the remarkable work of painter and scenographer Antoine Fontaine. One depicts the Krautmaart, bustling heart of the city in the 12th century. The other is located on the first floor of the museum’s recently inaugurated extension.

The panoramic room’s large windows offer spectacular views of the Grund and the Rham, as they appeared on the eve of the dismantling of the Fortress of Luxembourg in 1867.
