Established in February 2017, the Cafés Tricots solidaires have been a real success. This series of meetings will therefore be extended, in partnership with the non-profit organisation Cohabit'âge, until December 2018. Applicants and beneficiaries of international protection can thus share a friendly and gourmet moment around knitting. For this new edition, all participants are invited to bring back a small cold culinary speciality of their choice, to share with the rest of the group. Open to all, regardless of age or nationality, these meetings free of charge for 2 hours are intended to:
- learn or perfect your knitting technique thanks to the know-how of the grannies in the Mamie et Moi network
- to establish a friendly relationship and foster interaction between the local population and applicants and beneficiaries of international protection
- to (re)discover the 2 Museums of the City of Luxembourg
