In the age of machines

150 years ago, life in Luxembourg was very different from today!

During this tour, students will learn that even 12-year-old children worked in factories from 5 o'clock in the morning. Through historical objects and photos, the class will get an insight into what life was like during the industrial revolution.

After the visit, students will create a piece of porcelain based on the famous design of the Vieux Luxembourg by Villeroy & Boch, a company they will have learned about during the visit. Each student will take their creation home as a souvenir.
