Let's take the time to discover this fascinating period in the history of Luxembourg City together. With the help of models, charters and other archaeological objects from the permanent exhibition, we will travel back in time to the 10th century and see how the medieval city gradually developed from the primitive castle known as Lucilinburhuc.

Then, let's leave the museum and visit the archaeological crypt on Rue de la Reine, which houses the remains of the medieval city wall built in the 12th century.
