Let's discover the medieval past of the city of Luxembourg! This medieval walk starts on the lower level of the Lëtzebuerg City Museum where the model representing the city around 1500 introduces the subject. Then, let's go out and walk through the old town to find traces of its medieval remains. The layout of its charming alleyways, the Three Towers, the Scheieschlach, as well as the 12th century wall, well sheltered in the archaeological crypt of the Rue de la Reine, the vaulted cellars and the Gothic sculptures on the façade are all discreet testimonies of this medieval past that flames and bombardments have not succeeded in making disappear.
