The city of Luxembourg and its fortress have been depicted many times since the 16th century. City Visions takes a playful approach to the subject, offering a visual experience of the city’s evolution over the centuries and the most diverse perspectives on it.
Drawing on the museum’s collections, the exhibition focuses on the ‘visions’ of the city of Luxembourg – from panoramas of the early modern period to abstract graffiti and picturesque cityscapes. It invites visitors to engage with the exhibits and offers activities for young and old (games, puzzles and toys, tactile models, painting stations, a creative studio, etc.).
With its wealth of images and a focus on interactivity, this ‘out of the ordinary’ exhibition is an entertaining, curious and informative visit all at once.
