From 23 January to 12 April 2020, the Lëtzebuerg City Museum hosts in its permanent exhibition an extraordinary view of the city and fortress of Luxembourg from the mid-18th century.

The panorama was made in 1753 by the Austrian Major Wenzel (von) Callot. Recently discovered in the collections of the Albertina in Vienna, the drawing shows a precise panorama of the city and its fortifications. Callot's pen drawing distinguishes itself by its spectacular dimensions (213 x 35 cm) and the richness of its details.
