This tour invites students to explore a fascinating period in the history of the city of Luxembourg. Thanks to the models, charters and artefacts of the permanent exhibition, they will travel back in time to the 10th century to discover how the castle of Lucilinburhuc gradually transformed into a medieval city.

The visit continues with a discovery of the archaeological crypt in Rue de la Reine. This houses the remains of the medieval wall built in the 12th century.

> This tour fits in perfectly with the educational programme for Cycle 4.2 classes, which allows students to explore the Middle Ages in a historical and interactive setting.
