Did you know that there is an archaeological crypt under the cobblestones of the Rue de la Reine? It shelters the remains of the medieval wall dating from the 12th century. Would you like to visit it? Then come to the Lëtzebuerg City Museum for a visit of Luxembourg in the Middle Ages!
The models, charters and other artefacts in the permanent exhibition will help you to understand how the medieval city was gradually built. Afterwards, we will leave the museum to admire the city wall and its ditch, carved into the rock.
