To conclude its "Best of Posters - 100 posters from our collections, selected by the public" exhibition in a grand manner, the Lëtzebuerg City Museum extends an invitation to visitors for a final viewing, providing a unique opportunity to purchase reproductions of the historic posters featured in the exhibition's scenography. The exhibition, which has drawn over 60,000 visitors to the museum in the past year, officially will have closed on January 15, 2024.

On Thursday, January 18, 2024, between 5:30 pm and 8 pm, the public can explore the closed exhibition and choose from 90 facsimile posters, primarily created in Luxembourg during the 20th century. Each poster, priced at €15, will be assigned through a drawing from the individuals who have submitted their names in envelopes placed next to each poster.

Proceeds from the sale (cash only) will be directly collected by Creamisu, a socio-cultural meeting place and artistic expression venue for the homeless, situated in Bonnevoie and operated by Caritas. Creamisu actively participated in the exhibition preparation by forming one of the six juries responsible for selecting the "best of" posters from the museum's extensive collection.

In addition to poster sales, illustrator Charl Vinz is conducting a printing workshop. Don't miss this opportunity to spend a delightful and unconventional time at the museum, and perhaps leave with your preferred poster!
